Curiosity is the lust of the mind
One of the most eye opening experiences i have ever had was traveling to the Grand Canyon last summer. It made me realize that there is so much more to this world than just little Wenatchee, it makes me want to go exploring after traveling here. Everybody says the views are breathtaking which is very cliche but its hard to describe the feeling of looking over that ledge and seeing miles and miles of uniquely shaped rock formations across the landscape like this one here. At this point, a lady ventured off past the fence to go live life on the edge.

16th Street
Me and some other journalists from Wenatchee went to the National High School Journalism Convention in Denver, Colorado. This picture was a few members of our group touring through the city. Our school newspaper took 5th in Best of Show out of 137 schools. I placed 4th at nationals for "Yearbook Sports Photography" receiving "Excellence".

Winter Wonderland
Its that time a year again where the ground is filled with a plethora of white snow. Although I do not like to be cold, this is one my favorite times of year because it is just so beautiful outside. The one thing I do not like is when we start soccer tryouts in the first part of March and there is always a thick sheet of snow covering our field and our coach always makes us run off the snow by doing sprints across the field.

Charlie Hebdo
The terrorist attack at Charlie Hebdo is a terrible t tragedy in which innocent cartoonists were shot for their racial cartoons portraying Muhammed in a funny sketch. Although i think cartoons like these shouldn't be portrayed in popular social media like a prominent paper, I feel like these Muslims had no right to go do this. I want these people to be brought to justice for this unfortunate turn of events. The first United States Amendment clearly states "abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press" although France doesn't use our constitutional laws and rights i still think the terrorists crossed many lines and a lot of chaos is going to follow with the shooting.
